The US government does not provide for the best interest of the American Publics health.   It is a well known fact that there are many alternative treatment methods that are available and are restricted from being offered as what they are, because of Government censorship.

• There are cures for Diabetes

• There are cures for AIDS

• There are cures for Arthritis

• And there are cures for many other diseases.

• These cures cannot be promoted for what they are because; Government policy  supports the pharmaceutical industry and that is contrary to the public good. 

The American Government supports the American Medical Association by the use of the FDA in preventing and restricting many low cost cures from being made available to the Public.  All in the name of protecting the Publics interest and health.

The American Heart Association only spends 5% of it's annual budget for research !  Why?  Because they would put themselves out of business if the American public became aware of the cure for heart disease.  Why can a natural product not say what health claims it can provide without Government regulations.  People are not children and should not have their freedom of choice and civil rights unduly restricted. 

The public has the right to be given the option to choose their own therapy. It is senseless and criminal for Doctors to withhold and not to provide treatment when available. It is amoral for the medical insurance companies to deny payment for  therapies which have the potential to save lives, improve health and greatly reduce long-term medical expenditures by reducing the need for far more expensive hospitalization, surgery or drugs. 

Trillions of dollars in savings could be had for the US Government, the taxpayers and the medical insurance companies and the resulting reduction in insurance premiums would be astronomical.   Those savings could provide health benefits for those without insurance and drastically reduce insurance premiums that today are grossly out of control.  The insurance Companies support this deceit because the higher their gross sales the higher their profits are.

A physician signatory to the Constitution of the United States of America, Dr. Benjamin Rush, wrote:

The Constitution of the Republic should make special provisions for medical freedom as well as religious freedom. To restrict the art of healing to one class of men and deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic.

 

Doctors are not Gods they can only do their best within the limitations imposed on them.  Medicine is the art of healing and is not an exact science. When the Art of Medicine is controlled by bureaucrats and politics and is overseen by those that profit by it, then health care will continue to be less than desirable. Not only your health but most assuredly your life is at risk.  

 

When a Doctor will take a medication for himself and fear to prescribe the same for a patient because the American Medical Association  will take away his license to practice, then all those associated with this cover-up are morally an legally corrupt.

Cardiovascular disease kills more Americans than the next seven causes combined -- including cancer -- the AHA report states.  62 million Americans have cardiovascular disease,  high blood pressure,  angina, plaque blockage, strokes, and congestive heart failure; in America nearly a million people will die from these conditions this year.

This lengthy and financially prohibitive FDA approval process, which on one hand, appears to afford the pharmaceutical industry the protection they need to develop new patentable  pharmaceutical agents on the other hand makes it cost prohibitive and impossible for safer and frequently more effective natural products to crack the medical market. 

The pharmaceutical companies often are not the ones that spend the money and time to develop revolutionary new drugs, it's the US Government which provides Grants and funds for University medical research that leads to most new medicine and technology that can provide new cures.  That new medicine then is offered to Manufactures for royalties and percentages of sales. Research funding is designated to non conflicting drugs, drugs that are treatments and have a long term marketability and not short term cures. 

The pharmaceutical companies are more concerned in developing look alike products that are created in the laboratory to look like natural herbs, botanicals and human hormones they can be created in vast quantity at low cost regardless of superiority as long as it's new and patentable.  Most of these new meds prove less than desirable compared to the product they were suppose to improve on and many have hazardous side affects.  

The pharmaceutical companies duplicate the beneficial properties of natural products because they know that once the new medication receives FDA approval they can profit greatly. These patented products once available by prescription become eligible for reimbursement by insurance and specific claims can be made about its use in the marketing of the product to doctors and the public.

Because most natural products are not patentable, companies are not willing to spend millions of dollars to get FDA approval on a product that anyone can then sell. Many companies will get patent protection and  market exclusivity knowing a market exists and the can make outrageous profits. 

There are two main criteria for determining whether a nutritional product can be sold as a dietary supplement.

Under FDA literal interpretation of dietary supplements act 21 U>S>C> 321 (ff) added by the DSHEA of 1994 any substance may qualify as a dietary supplement in this country as long as it was not previously marketed in this country as a drug and the substance meets this definition:

A dietary substance used to supplement the diet by increasing the total dietary intake.  

The second determining factor is the claims that can be made with regard to the product. Unless a product, whether natural or synthetic, is approved by the FDA (an extremely costly and lengthy process (over $150 million dollars and 7 years) it can not make a claim that it treats an illness.

These laws restrict the information that you can provide about a nutritional product to how it supports or improves function. Statements like improves energy, mood and joint mobility are allowable but treats fatigue, depression or arthritic are not.

Under these same laws the manufacturers of a prescription drugs can make claims saying their  product it is approved for the treatment of the symptoms associated with ____. But as a company marketing a non FDA approved natural product,  all they can say about is it improves energy, mood, libido and strength by supporting healthy function. We can not make claims that  will treat diseases including high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, impotence, arthritis and immune disorders even though they may all have been proven effective for many years..
